Al-Asma-ul-Husna – The 99 most beautiful names and attributes of Allah the Almighty
Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. [Surah Taha 20:8]
He is Allah the Creator the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the exalted in Might, the Wise. [Surah Al-Hashr 59:24]
The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on Him by them; [Surah Al-A’raf 7:180]
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radhiallahu ‘anhu): Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise.”
[Sahih Bukhari – Book 50 – Hadith 894]
Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will enter Paradise; and allah is Witr (one) and loves ‘the Witr’ (i.e., odd numbers). [Sahih Bukhari – Book 75 – Hadith 419]
