The Mercy Hub: Hope That Continues
As the ceasefire hangs by a thread, innocent lives keep being lost, nearly half of them children. A blockade with strict limits on food, fuel, and medicine remains. Bakeries that once fed neighbourhoods are closed, markets have vanished, and families search desperately for food, let alone clean water. Parents mourn their children while everything around them feels unstable, clearly reminding us that Gaza still needs us.
At Al Mustafa Canada, along with our partners, we are working tirelessly to reach displaced families. We provide hot meals, safe water, and essential hygiene supplies made possible by your donations. Yet each day, the struggle deepens. Supplies are running low, and aid trucks often sit just miles away, unable to reach those in urgent need.
This Ramadan, our response takes shape through the Mercy Hub, a dedicated village in northern Gaza. Here, 90 tents will shelter displaced families, along with a bakery producing fresh bread every day. From this hub, families will receive daily bread, clean water, food packs, and meals for suhoor and iftar, bringing stability in a place where everything else feels uncertain.
The Mercy Hub is more than emergency aid. It is a centre of care, a space where children can find comfort, parents can rest, and families can regain a sense of dignity amidst devastation.
Keep giving to Gaza. Let your compassion never cease. Donate to Palestine

There are no normal supply chains left in Gaza. War, legal barriers, and the blockade have shut down nearly every conventional route into the territory. So how does anything actually get in?
It gets in through partners who have the access. Al Mustafa Canada works with organisations that hold special permissions and the logistical muscle to operate where others cannot. The Egyptian Red Crescent and the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization use military aircraft and armoured truck convoys to push supplies across border crossings under secure conditions.
We work with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization to assist five hospitals in Gaza and the West Bank. We bring essential surgical equipment and medical supplies into two field hospitals in Tel Al-Hawa, Khan Younis, and Nablus, and to two surgical posts in Ramallah and Jenin. Medical supplies are flown to a military transport plane in Jordan, travel through the border and into Gaza by truck.
